1. First things first, make a list of everyone you would like to invite to your special day (remembering to check with both of your families). Then revisit it and decide if it is an acceptable number to you all. It is worth bearing in mind that the larger the venue you need, the fewer options there will be available to you and naturally your budget will increase.
Delegate some tasks to other family members too, as a couple you have enough to deal with so allow a trusted relative to take over in certain areas, say the purchasing of wedding favors. Even just have them go out with their cell phone and do some pre shopping. If they spot any great items they can easily snap a shot and let you look at it later. Once you do go out shopping then you know which stores you need to visit, saving you lots of time and energy.
