Keep it short. This can sink any speech no matter how good the speaker. Keep your speech down to 3 or 4 minutes. If you cannot be sure that you can meet the time requirement, just practice the speech on your own time. Makes sure to time how long it is so that you can have a great estimation of how long your speech will be.
The choice of font should be complementing the design as well! So, more ornate styles would be appropriate for traditional cards and simpler forms would be more suitable for contemporary invites. Also, make sure the font you have chosen makes reading easy. Your guests should be able to access every bit of information provided, without much of a trouble.
Make sure that you do not include anything in your wedding anniversary speech that will only upset the anniversary couple. Avoid topics that talks about drugs, alcohol or any sensitive topics, may it be something that relates to the couple or any member of their family.
